Interim Senior Procurement Manager Marketing Category – August 2017 – June 2018

10-month interim role working within the procurement department, responsible for 160 marketing contracts with an annual budget of £60m.


Key Achievements

  • Developed and implemented a plan to achieve £1.4m in year savings on Xerox integrated contracts
  • Produced and implemented a plan to reduce marketing category suppliers from 160 to 130.
  • Completed tender for creative packaging suppliers, reducing from 5 suppliers to 2 and implementing new structured rate card, delivering in year savings of £0.5m
  • Completed tender for digital coupon processing, moving Morrisons away from a supplier of 14 years to a new digital solution resulting in £1m cost savings and £0.5m fraud reduction.
